An alumnus of St Michael's Patna and BITS Pilani, his career began at CFTRI Mysore under the mentorship of Dr KT Achaya. His focus on dairy development and sustainable agriculture laid the foundation for his impactful role at NDDB Anand. Here, he worked for the Operation Flood program, which modernized India's dairy industry, making it the world's largest and elevating it to global prominence.
With decades of experience in Government of India institutions of national importance, Vinod Huria has driven advancements in planning, technology transfer, and developmental research. His deep understanding of food and the dairy industry enabled him to mentor generations of future food technologists at the CFTRI, inspiring them to tackle real-world industry challenges. He is a prolific author of trendsetting research papers, pushing the boundaries of food industry and marketing and simplifying complex food science concepts for wider audiences. He has designed the curriculum for food technology programs for national universities.
