Avni is a teen author who believes stories connect us, challenge us, and change how we see the world. Whether through debating, reading, or listening to people’s experiences, she has always been drawn to voices that deserve to be heard—especially those of girls who fight for an education against the odds and dream beyond what’s expected of them.
Inspired by figures like Malala Yousafzai, Avni views education as a lifeline. Writing this book was her way of sharing the hope and determination she witnessed firsthand—stories that stayed with her and made her question how easily we overlook others' realities.
Avni loves reading biographies and autobiographies of inspiring, strong female role models. She enjoys playing tennis, deep sea diving, and having thoughtful debates with her friends. She loves exploring new ideas and believes that change begins by asking the right questions and listening carefully to others.
 
Her greatest hope is that this book makes you think, feel, and see things a little differently. If these stories linger or spark reflection, that’s reason enough for her to have written it.
