Born in New Delhi, he grew up in Surrey from 2005, before returning to Bangalore to complete his schooling in 2009. Writing from an early age, with several of his English teachers being his greatest inspirations, their assignments showing him, his own knack for the written medium.
After completing school in 2017, Kabir moved back to the United Kingdom to pursue an education in Liberal Arts, before dropping out in 2018 to chase his dreams of becoming a screenwriter and filmmaker, working fast food to save for his first camera.
Transferring to Mumbai in 2019, he completed university at a film school. During this time he wrote numerous unreleased scripts, but most notably, directing Party Residents; a series of Urban Short Films for the Indian Youth.
Hungry to debut alone, Mince Mud Media was born in 2022; a content agency that ran for sixteen months, before shutting down during an awkward transition to break into feature films, and lack of experience within the business of Bollywood.
Let’s Leave… Please was to be the first feature film produced by Mince Mud Movies, a hip-hop film commencing production in 2023, part of a larger universe of stories the author has been developing, but has now been adapted into the very novel you are reading in front of you!

Ever felt trapped? Ever felt stuck in a box, with your back against the wall, feeling like you have nowhere to go? Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, and absolutely no way to escape?
Now what about drugs? Has anyone ever offered those to you? How about offered you an opportunity to sell those drugs? Did you comply? Or did you say no like the good and morally righteous person you were raised to be?
Maybe you did say no, but then realised it was all
Ever felt trapped? Ever felt stuck in a box, with your back against the wall, feeling like you have nowhere to go? Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, and absolutely no way to escape?
Now what about drugs? Has anyone ever offered those to you? How about offered you an opportunity to sell those drugs? Did you comply? Or did you say no like the good and morally righteous person you were raised to be?
Maybe you did say no, but then realised it was all around. Within your home, within your apartment, even within your family. Can you still say no? Are you still willing to stand by what you stand for?
Meet our protagonist. A seemingly innocent soul tumbling through life, lost and in search of meaning. He stuck to his morales, and where did that get him? Nowhere, apparently. And now he’s pissed. Not just pissed, alone; let alone, in every manner of the word, be it spoken or written… Surrounded.
How is he to escape? Will he leave and manage to escape this complicated situation that he’s so deeply stuck within? Mentally, metaphorically, malignantly… You pick. Will he finally achieve the simple yet impossible state you and I, (we) like to call mental peace? Will he ever be able to find… home?
Join me, join us, dear reader, for this soothing yet terrifying tale and walk with me, while I show you exactly where our protagonist does right, goes wrong, and how you can escape the terrible fate that seems absolutely unavoidable for our dear friend of whom we don’t even know the name, hardly him.
