In his youth, he actively participated in theatre, the library movement, literacy education, the science movement, and political activism, laying the foundation for his lifelong commitment to education and community development.
Later, Sasi moved to Telangana, where, with the steadfast support of his life companion, Mrs. K.P. Annie, he founded the Good Morning Educational Society. Together, they established schools in remote villages, bringing education to marginalised communities. His interest in innovative teaching methods led him to adopt Montessori education, and he later published Montessori: A Brief Guide, a practical resource on this educational philosophy.
As an English teacher for decades, Sasi inspired countless students with his love for language and learning. While he initially recognised Noam Chomsky as a political commentator, activist, and philosopher, it was through the widespread availability of the internet that he became acquainted with Chomsky’s linguistic theories. Intrigued by the concept of generative grammar, Sasi immersed himself in studying Chomsky’s work and linguistic philosophy.
Observing a gap in concise and accessible resources on the topic, Sasi took on the challenge of writing his book, resulting in Generative Grammar (Chomskyan or Universal): An Introductory Handbook. This work serves as an approachable introduction to Chomsky’s linguistic ideas, crafted to make the subject understandable to readers new to the field.
M.M. Sasi’s journey—from his early activism in Kerala to his transformative work in education in Telangana and his contribution to linguistics—reflects his enduring passion for knowledge, teaching, and empowering others."

The System that laid the Foundation of individual teaching is modern education.
The Montessori method is a scientific, academic, and experiential education that looks at the life and development of a child holistically. It also helps parents and teachers participate in and guide the child to understand the world and their place in it.
Dr. Montessori took a child as her life mission and dedicated her life to making the mission successful. The physician and educator literally discovered the child and contributed to the development of a comprehensive method, philosophy, and practice.
The world has truly recognised it as the new hope, since it has taught humanity the solution to a myriad of problems associated with children and their upbringing. For her, the education of the child is not to promote competition but to find the means to release the child's potential to its maximum. There are many books on the topic, but this integrated book guides you through its philosophy as well as practical tips. It also addresses the ongoing relevance of the methodology with respect to the unprecedented pandemic situation of COVID-19.
