Manohar Rao Vangoori is a mechanical engineering graduate of 1963, an
entrepreneur, and an industry leader with decades of experience in precision
engineering, manufacturing, and business leadership. His journey began at HEC
Ranchi and HAL, where he gained invaluable experience in tooling, production
processes, and aerospace manufacturing. Over the years, he worked on
pioneering projects that shaped his career and strengthened his belief in
innovation, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
 
In 1970, he identified his life’s ambition and successfully achieved it through
his enterprise. Determined to make a larger impact, he founded Jaisara Tooling
Systems Pvt Ltd, a company that grew into a global leader in high-precision
tooling solutions. Through partnerships with major international firms like
Pratt & Whitney, Air India, and leading aerospace companies, he navigated
complex industrial challenges and helped establish Indian engineering on the
global stage—championing the "Make in India, Make for the World" initiative
from 1993 onward.
 
Beyond his professional achievements, his greatest passion lies in mentorship
and knowledge-sharing. He has always believed that success is not just about
 
personal milestones but about empowering others to reach their full potential.
He takes pride in having mentored many engineers and entrepreneurs, helping
them shape their own paths in the industry.
 
Social work is also one of his passions, and he has been a life member of Lions
International for over 45 years.
 
All his pursuits were supported by his wife, Shoba Rani, who was his
foundation, and his talented daughters, Dr. Sapna Srinivas and Savitha
Vangoori, along with his sons-in-law, Srinivas MJ and Subarao Goodapaty. His
grandchildren, Aaryaman Mitta, Aayush Godapaty, and Mahika Mitta, continue
to make excellent strides in their own careers. He also acknowledges the
contribution of Subashini in compiling his work.
 
This book is a reflection of his life’s work, experiences, and the invaluable
lessons he has learned along the way. His hope is that his story inspires future
generations to pursue their ambitions with integrity, perseverance, and a
relentless commitment to excellence.
