MukkaMaar is a non-profit organisation that works to empower adolescent girls to confront violence through knowledge, skills, and mindsets, using an empowerment self-defence and gendered consciousness-raising approach. Working primarily within the government school ecosystem, over the past 7 years, the organisation has directly engaged with more than 50,000 stakeholders, including girls, educators, and education leaders.
