Prabir Ghosh, 65 years chartered accountant by profession, pursued his love for history and literature after his 35 years of busy professional career as a top-level executive in a large corporate house in India. An avid reader, he travelled extensively in Europe, Southeast Asia, the USA, and Africa in connection with his role as the Head of Global Business. His first book on a collection of Bengali Poems titled A Small Bouquet of my Feelings (আমার টুকরো ভাবনারা) was published in 2023 and was showcased in International Book Fair 2024 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. A passionate reader of World History, he felt the urge to set a different trend in history writing, to bring Indian history in total perspective along with the contemporary World History from 500000 BCE to 2024, as an easy read for Gen Y, who does not have enough time to read voluminous History Books but have the interest to look into India’s past. The present book is the result of his thoughts toward setting a different trend in writing history in a snippet format.
