Prof. Ramya is a prominent Indian Writer and Tribal Researcher currently pursuing Doctoral Research in Tribal Literature. Her research focuses on tribal life and culture across various Indian states, including Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Kerala, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. She explores the hidden social issues in India. She emphasizes education and sustainable livelihoods for tribal communities, particularly in Tamil Nadu.
As a columnist, Prof. Ramya’s articles have been featured in leading publications like Outlook India, The Indian Express, Pioneer, Ground Report, Navjeevan Express, Mathrubhumi, The Indian Tribal and more. She has authored the books titled Voice of India and The Outlook.
