Roshni Champati Jain was born and raised in an archetypal Bengali family in Calcutta, India. With both parents deeply engaged in theatre and the arts, Roshni grew up in an environment of creative and rhythmic chaos. With a rather elemental inclination towards literature and the arts, she spent years writing and publishing stories and poems in little magazines and journals…sometimes even selling them with friends at the Kolkata Book Fair!
After completing her Bachelors and Masters degree in Comparative Literature from the prestigious Jadavpur University, Roshni joined the software industry and began her professional career in Bangalore. Initially working as a technical writer for software guides, she eventually evolved in her role to lead the strategy for product content experience. Currently, Roshni works for a global data cloud company, where she has emerged as a leader in knowledge management and customer experience. Her passion continues to remain content creation and improving content adoption, thereby decreasing cost of running adoption campaigns for softwares.
Having lived for more than a decade in both Bangalore and San Francisco, Roshni brings a diverse perspective to her writing. Her origins and academic background in the creative space and eventual transition to hard-core technical/software appropriation is testament to her resilience and capacity for re-invention. She currently resides in Bangalore with her family. The Road to Foreverness is her first novel and there are many more in the pipeline.
