A graduate of Universiti Utara Malaysia with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Hafidz is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) since 1996.
His career began at KPMG Malaysia and Renong Berhad, where he honed his expertise in auditing and financial reporting. He later took on leadership roles at renowned public listed organizations, including Puncak Niaga Holdings Berhad, where he played a role as an Accountant in securing USD 294 million in financing and managing the company’s listing on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. Hafidz’s journey continued as the Executive Director at ENC Group, where he expanded the team and boosted revenue from USD 0.4 million to USD 6.7 million within three years.
Abdul Hafidz founded BCC Technology in 1999, building it into a trusted telecommunications and IT service contractor. He has also served as the Chairman of audit committees for public-listed companies, contributing to corporate governance and financial oversight. Recognized for his achievement, he has represented Malaysia at IBM World Conferences.
