Faisal Sayyed is a literature enthusiast and emerging poet, originally from India and now living in the UAE. With a background in the arts and an enduring love for nature—especially trees—his world has always been steeped in verse, story, and silence. He began writing poetry in 2015, when a single poem stirred a voice within him that would go on to shape the soul of his writing.
Deeply influenced by the Elizabethan literary tradition, and by voices such as Robert Frost, S.T. Coleridge, Munshi Premchand, and Robert Browning, Faisal’s work echoes with longing, despair, and the quiet ache of loss. His debut collection, A Faded Forever, is a memoir in verse—chronicling the arc of love from its bright beginnings to its slow unraveling. These poems are but a lasting impression of something that once was—held gently, and honoured in verse.
His poems speak to those who have known the beauty of love and the misery of its absence, when every road leads not to hope but to acceptance.
Beyond the page, the auther is also a budding photographer and an admirer of slow, quiet moments—drawn to moonlit skies, stormy nights, winter mornings, and the gentle strength of solitude. This is his first published work.
