Born in the small village of Chogul in the Kupwara district, Gurmeet Singh Ghuman is a highly respected retired officer who dedicated his life to public service. He pursued higher education, earning a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and a Diploma in Disaster Management, reflecting the breadth of his professional expertise.
