Dr. Joshin John
Dr. Joshin John is an Associate Professor and Dean (Research) at the Xavier Institute of Management & Entrepreneurship (XIME), Kochi. He earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow.
A mechanical engineer from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum (2006), he began his career as a Design Engineer at Larsen & Toubro Ltd. and later served as an Engineering Manager and consultant to several Fortune 500 companies.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Marine Engineers (India) and a Paul Lawrence Fellow of the Case Research Foundation (USA) and the North American Case Research Association.
His research has been published in reputed journals including Udyog Pragati, International Journal of Strategic Decision Sciences, South Asian Journal of Management, Operations & Supply Chain Management: An International Journal, International Journal of Energy Sector Management, International Journal of Emergency Services, and Technology Forecasting and Social Change.
Dr. John has co-authored eight case studies distributed globally through Ivey Publishing, The Case Centre (UK), IESE Publishing (Spain), and Harvard Business Publishing. He also serves as a consultant to the Government of India, supporting the implementation of lean management practices in manufacturing enterprises.
Dr. Rajiv K. Srivastava
Dr. Rajiv K. Srivastava is a recently superannuated Professor from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, where he served for over 30 years. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Virginia Tech, USA. He completed his post-graduation in Industrial Engineering from the National Institute for Industrial Engineering (NITIE), Mumbai—now IIM Mumbai—after earning a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.
With over 45 years of academic and industry experience, Dr. Srivastava has previously taught at the State University of New York, Buffalo (USA), and NITIE, Mumbai. Post-retirement, he continues to contribute as an Adjunct Faculty at several leading institutions, including multiple IIMs and XLRI.
His areas of expertise include Analysis and Design of Manufacturing Systems, Production Planning and Control, and the Applications of Quantitative Methods and Information Technology in Operations Management.

Dr. Neetha J. Eappen
Dr. Neetha J. Eappen serves as a Research Supervisor for the Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) program and as a Senior Faculty member for the MBA program at Westford University College, UAE, in partnership with Abertay University and UCAM Catholic University of Murcia.
She has published research papers in peer-reviewed journals and co-authored several case studies distributed through Ivey Publishing, The Case Centre (UK), IESE Publishing (Spain), and Harvard Business Publishing. One of her co-authored cases was recognized as an Ivey Publishing Bestseller (2024–25) in the Operations Management discipline.
Dr. Eappen earned her Ph.D. in Management from Cochin University of Science and Technology. An alumna of TKM College of Engineering, she holds a degree in Civil Engineering and an MBA from the University of Kerala. She began her career as a Management Trainee at the Kerala Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (KINFRA) before moving into academia, where she now has over two decades of teaching experience in business management.
