His love for poetry has been since his childhood. He developed a deep interest in value-based poetry during his early days through an avid study of Ramcharit Manas under the mentorship of his father. His adolescent mind had been shaped by the ideas of patriotism, freedom struggle and social consciousness propounded by Rashtrakavi Maithilisharan Guptji. Simultaneously, he has imbibed the virtues of peace, harmony, non-violence and intolerance towards injustice, from the Father of the Nation, Gandhiji.
He has intensely followed Indian culture, literature and history. He has a particular interest in the Gita, spirituality, meditation and yoga. His poems exude a humble appeal towards truth, social harmony, universal brotherhood and human values. His poems have been published in many literary journals. His poems, narrated on various literary and poetic platforms and broadcasted from All India Radio, have been widely appreciated.
