Ravi Kumar is a strategic communicator, celebrated poet, and storyteller whose work spans the worlds of journalism, corporate branding, and creative writing. With over two decades of experience, he is widely regarded as an industry stalwart and currently leads external communications at one of India’s top life insurers, known for shaping narratives that inspire trust and transformation.
He spent close to a decade in broadcast journalism with some of India’s most reputed national news channels before transitioning into corporate leadership. His contributions have earned him prestigious accolades including Asia’s Top 100 Power Leaders in Corporate Communications, IPRCCA’s Corp Comm Professional of the Year, exchange4media 40 Under 40, and more.
His first book, Kaagaz Ke Mahal—a collection of Hindi-Urdu poems—became an Amazon Bestseller, introducing him as a compelling poetic voice. He now makes his fiction debut with The Kaliyuga Secret, a mythological thriller that blends Vedic wisdom with modern-day storytelling.
A lifelong learner, Ravi holds an Honours degree in English Literature from the prestigious Kirori Mal College, Delhi University, along with a diploma in TV Journalism from YMCA, New Delhi and an Executive Management Program in Strategic Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur. A trained Hindustani classical vocalist, he has also performed for over 14 years on reputed cultural platforms across India.
He lives in Delhi with his wife Parul and son Vedaant, and actively mentors emerging communicators.
