Dr. Syed Mohamed Aljunid is an esteemed Emeritus Professor of Public Health Medicine at the Department of Public Health Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, National University of Malaysia, where he has dedicated over 30 years to advancing public health education and research. Currently, he serves as a Professor of Community Medicine at IMU University Malaysia. Dr. Aljunid was the inaugural Professor and Chair of the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Faculty of Public Health, Kuwait University.
