Usha Jesudasan is the author of several biographies - Shaping Young Minds, Brokenness as a Blessing, And He Embraced Him, When Fears Are Grounded, Dreams Take Wings. Her own autobiographies – I Will Lie Down In Peace and Two Journeys chronicle her life and that of her mother. Dr Sulochana Abraham retired as Professor and Head of the Community Health Department of Christian Medical College, Vellore. An Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, she is also a specialist in Public Health. As a Consultant to WHO, World Bank, SIDA, and the Ford Foundation her focus was on the health of marginalised women.
