We now have specific treatments for thousands of disease and go deep in to an organ, and repair the defect or even replace it. These stunning discoveries, along with improved living conditions has doubled the life expectancy from around 40 to 70 in the last two centuries. This has a direct coincidence with the thumping medical discoveries that happened in the same time span.
The book aims to record all the winners of the Nobel Prize in medicine, a special award created by the inventor of dynamite Alfred Nobel in the year 1901.
