Durba Ghose has been working with grassroots, national, and international organizations in areas of education, gender justice, social entrepreneurship, and performing arts for over two decades. With expertise in the area of communication, she has a range of publications to her name, including over 10 research studies, guides, and manuals. As a trained classical dancer and actor with international experience and as a choreographer and theater director, Durba is passionate about building linkages of the world of arts with all of Mittika’s training work for people development and social development. Besides Mittika, Durba has co-founded and serves on the boards of Action for Excellence in Children and Women Foundation, Association of Commonwealth Scholars and Fellows, and Commutiny-The Youth Collective. She is also a Commonwealth Professional Fellow.

Kavita Arora has over 25 years of experience in the corporate and development sector. She has been instrumental in visioning and leading various national and international programs with youth, educators and organizations. Detailing processes and structures and implementing them with precision is what drives her. Kavita has vast experience in research and program development. As a certified trainer, she has about 1000 days of experience in design and facilitation of workshops with a diverse range of people and organizations. Having trained in story-telling, she loves to use stories, theatre, and other art forms in all her work. She is also a certified ‘Science of Happiness’ trainer and coach.

Jaya Iyer has decades of experience in applied theatre, story-telling, youth work, eco-literacy, and peace education. As an award-winning theatre-director and theatre activist, Jaya has worked with communities across India and has developed several art-based public campaigns besides creating over 12 stage plays and 500 street plays. She is also a dancer, martial art teacher, cook, and a heritage guide. Jaya was awarded the UNESCO Aschberg bursary to study the theater of the oppressed with Augusto Boal and is the recipient of the WISCOMP Scholar of Peace fellowship and the USAID Show of Force Award. Her play Lal Batti Express was showcased in Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2017. During her tenure as the CEO of Pravah, the organization received the Sanskriti Award for outstanding social contribution.
