Harish chandra Sharma was born on 23rd September 1943 in Hyderabad, Sindh (now in Pakistan). He completed his primary education in Kankroli, Rajasthan, and higher education in Udaipur, Rajasthan, earning a postgraduate degree in Mathematics. He briefly served as a university lecturer before establishing his own business, which he had to leave due to a physical accident. After this, he fully dedicated himself to the study of astrology.
Astrology was part of his family tradition, and he began learning it early. His great-grandfather, Pt. Lalchandra Sharma was a renowned astrologer who authored an almanac calculation book incorporating advanced mathematics. The family tradition of planetary calculations was based on this work. His father, Pt. Giridhar Lal Sharma was also a distinguished astrologer who published almanacs using Letho presses during that era. Under his father's guidance, Pt. Harishchandra Sharma had the opportunity to delve into astrology.
