Subrat SaurabhAuthor of Kuch Woh PalWhy do so many submit to the tyranny of the few? Why are group-based discriminatory practices like casteism, racism, islamophobia, antisemitism, and homophobia so common and enduring?
Why do people consent to their own enslavement?
How do people commit cruelties and still feel innocent at the same time?
To uncover the truths, one must go beyond prevailing narratives and deconstruct conventional wisdom.
This book explores this subject primarily through the lens of “caste”, as casteism encompasses all forms of identity-based discrimination.

Yoda Siddhartha
The author is a mechanical engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, India. Presently retired, he has worked for multiple enterprises in various engineering and scientific roles.
Though an engineer and scientist by profession, the author's fascination with theoretical physics—especially relativistic and quantum physics—and literature, such as the works of Kafka, Dostoevsky, Camus, Hemingway, and Marquez, has fuelled his desire to understand the fundamental laws of nature and society. This interest led him to read and reflect on hundreds of books, research papers, and articles on sociology, sociopsychology, anthropology, and philosophy.
Although the author lacks specific attributes and privileges because he's not a professional sociologist, this, on the other hand, grants him a mindset free from established norms and conventions, giving him a unique perspective that extends beyond traditional boundaries.
