Covid Positives

Author Name: Sudha Narasimhachar | Format: Paperback | Genre : Biographies & Autobiographies | Other Details

Do you remember the surreal experience of ‘Lockdown’? Every day felt like a gift from God. We could not watch the news channels beyond a few minutes because there was hardly anything positive to watch. Many of us got hooked on to spiritual lectures, religious discourses or music concerts that could soothe our minds which were always laden with worries about our kith and kin, whom we could only see on video calls.

Many of us got into a disciplined lifestyle of exercises, yoga, walks in our gardens, cleaning up, gargling, inhaling, washing, watching some positive program, reading, talking to our friends and relatives and going to bed at a regular time. I thought of including one more activity to this list and decided to write one piece a day, digging into my memories (most of them happy, ofcourse) and trying to pep up myself and my friends. It became an exciting experience for me, as my friends loved my articles, started reading regularly and waited eagerly for my piece every night. As I wrote about my childhood, my youth, my experiences, the people whom I adored, loved and respected, I realised I was touching the hearts of many of my friends, who could relate to many of the things I described. Many of them shared their experiences with me after reading my pieces.

If you want to trigger your thoughts from your sweet past, go on and start reading. I assure you will get absorbed into those beautiful eras when things were so different. Just a chance to relive your past!
