Smt. K.V. Vijayalakshmi, who is a nuclear Chemist and educationist, is into shaping the young impressionable minds by her teaching for more than 20 years both in India and Africa. She is the great grand - daughter of Swami Kapistalam Desikacharyar of Tirupati who is renowned as Abhinava Desika in Visishtadvaita philosophy. She was teaching not only Chemistry but also about life and challenges that are thrust upon young minds when they face the world as adults. She teaches about what goals one should set for themselves to achieve a meaningful life. People become great by setting themselves lofty ideals and working towards obtaining them as they go on. She is a Trustee in a Charitable Trust which educate poor candidates in securing professional education in the fields of medicine, engineering etc.
