Born and raised in the cities of Agra and Haridwar, Achyut Prashast Singh is an Indian author and indie filmmaker. He graduated from the Hindu college of Delhi University, and went on to make a number of indie films before finally taking to writing books. He has written one Hindi book titled Gagan Manthan, which is a poetry compilation. His first English-language book is Rain in the Town, a romantic action thriller storybook. He plans to turn most of his projects that were earlier supposed to be movies into books.
