Prache Arshi
Prache was born in Jaipur, brought up in Ambala, married in Amritsar and finally settled in Mumbai. In a big joint Arya Samaji family, her mother used to follow Sanatan Dharam, she did her schooling from an Orthodox Convent School and eventually got married to a Sikh! Perhaps being exposed to different religions up close from the very onset, to seek meaning in life became integral part of her being.
Unfortunately she lost the core pillar of her life, her mother when she was just 18 and the void forced her to perceive life from a different perspective. After completing her Masters in Commerce from Kurukshetra University she became a qualified U. G .C (N.E T) lecturer. She pursued her career in teaching and education for fifteen plus years.
Though Life has always been full of adventure for her but adventure took a different turn when she married Manpreet, director in media and television . With God's grace she’s blessed with two daughters which turned her life into a real life fairy tale. Sometime in between she also had two near death experiences that made her a firm believer in living each moment of life to the fullest.
She loves to explore life and expand her platter of indulgence. Swimming, Badminton, Zumba, Yoga and Meditation are few of her hobbies which rejuvenate her soul. Her quest to know and learn more about life and divine has always kept her on toes. Spiritual teachings and their application in her routine life has made her keep abreast with the incessant callings of her soul.
With wish to keep exploring and working on herself, she has been assisting her husband in the production house from past 7 years in writing and logistics. Being on a sabbatical after she was blessed with her second daughter gave her time to think deeply and give an outlet to her creative side. She is a screenwriter of a recently released short film “Pep Talks”, that just like Second Chance also subtly touches mental health issues and its need to be given due importance in life to keep a steady balance.
With all the twist and turns that life has put her though she believes in having a heart to heart connect with her audience and readers and touch subjects that are more relatable and relevant in current times.
