‘Sheroes in our Stamps’ is my third book in the series about the Sheroes of India. The book comprises stories of extraordinary women who have been honoured with postage stamps by India between 1947 and 2024.
The stories and accounts in this book are grouped into two categories. The first category comprises Sheroes who have been commemorated or honoured with postage stamps under the theme ‘Personality’. Most of these stamps feature Sheroes from India, while some feature women achievers from other countries. The second category comprises stamps issued to commemorate an Institution or Event associated with a Shero and also stamps issued on themes related to women.

Sridevi is from Chennai, India. An IT Professional turned Author, she started her writing journey inspired by the Rebel Girls book series. Her first book, ‘Stories of our Sheroes’, about the foremost women of India, was published in April 2024, and her second book, ‘Stories of our Green Sheroes’, about the Green Warrioresses of India, was published in November 2024.
