Jiji Lanithottam is a distinguished social activist widely recognized for his impactful contributions to social work and community development. Guided by a deep commitment to human welfare, he has initiated and implemented numerous programs that have brought about sustainable change and meaningful improvements in the lives of individuals and families across communities. 

Jiji currently serves as the Chairman of the Puzha Foundation, through which he continues to champion initiatives focused on social empowerment, healthcare access, and community resilience. He also played a pivotal coordinating role in the implementation of the Karunya Benevolent Fund, a flagship welfare scheme introduced in the Kerala State Budget by former Finance Minister Shri K. M. Mani. The Karunya Benevolent Fund was conceived to provide crucial financial assistance to economically disadvantaged patients suffering from life-threatening illnesses, including cancer.

Dr. Sunnichan V. George is an accomplished academic and researcher, honored with the Professor A. Abraham Gold Medal from the University of Kerala and the DST Young Scientist Award for his work in genetics and plant breeding. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Delhi and has completed postdoctoral research at ICGEB, New Delhi, and university of Colorado and St. Thomas University, Miami, in the USA. Renowned for his contributions to tropical horticulture, he has introduced exotic fruit species and developed advanced cultivation technologies in Kerala, and played a key role in the development of the ‘Geebin’ household composting bin. His expertise spans Genetics, Horticulture, Solid Waste Management, and Functional Food Development.
