Biplabratan Sarkar
Biplabratan Sarkar is a teacher of English of McWilliam Higher Secondary School of Alipurduar, West Bengal. Several of his personal anecdotes were published in The Statesman and The Telegraph. He would write reports of human interests in the NB plus Minus and plus Points columns of The Statesman. He is always ready to put pen to paper. He is a voracious reader too. Mr. Sarkar's abiding interest lies in motivation as well as divinity. He has eyes penetrating and insightful, to look into things of life, be it simple or sublime. His book Bangladesh and Monalisa: Revisited '71 Saga, a travelogue cum autobiographical novel in the backdrop of the Bangladesh liberation war with all its shocking and searing incidences, published in 2014, earned him popularity among the readers.
