Dhanbad, a city in Eastern India is the coal capital of India. Dhanbad and Coal are synonymous. The coal trade in the city has seen some bloody gangwars. To understand the crime equation, one will have to dwell in its history.
This book lays emphasis on these aspects as to how the coal trade is carried illegally by the barons and how they want to rule. The book also slightly touches the Wasseypur locality, which came into limelight after the 2012 Hindi flick, Gangs of Wasseypur. The murder of Neeraj Singh, the ex-deputy Mayor of Dhanbad in 2017 once again fuelled the speculations of everything being fine in the city. It is a must-read to develop a comprehensive idea and clear picture of coal mafias in the city. It will surely be an enjoyable read.
