This book puts light on Haryana's electoral politics and analyses different issues that influenced the electoral politics in the State of Haryana since 1991 as far as Assembly Elections were concerned. It also makes an investigation of the new political changes and electoral trends that took place in Haryana politics. Through this book, an attempt has been made to discuss the major issues and their role in the electoral politics of Haryana since 1991. This book covers the issues and trends that took place in Haryana’s electoral politics during Assembly Elections held from 1991 to 2019. It analyses the dominance of Lal trios – Devi Lal, Bhajn Lal and Bansi Lal and their family members. It also highlights the emergence of Bhupinder Singh Hooda and Manohar Lal Khattar in Haryana politics. Along with the core issues, the major issues of SYL and Chandigarh as a territory and capital too have been discussed and analysed. Trend of regionalism, coalition politics, caste factor, women representation, politics on recruitments etc have been discussed in this book.

Dr. Kuldeep Singh, presently is working as a Senior Lecturer in Political Science at Government Model Sanskriti Senior Secondary School, Sector-55, Faridabad, Haryana, under Haryana Education Department. He graduated (Political Science Hons.) and earned Post Graduation (M.A.) and Ph.D. in Political Science from Jamia Millia Islamia, A Central Unversity, New Delhi. He qualified NET Exam in Political Science in June 1998 conducted by UGC, New Delhi. The Author has authored three Books, two Chapters and 7 Articles in various National Journals.
