G.S.Shridhar
G. S. Shridhar, aka Sach (short for saccharine), is a retired advertising professional who started small and grew into leadership roles in large, multinational advertising companies.
For the bulk of his career of 34 years, he wrote advertisements and television commercials for a vast variety of brands and clients. Shridhar worked in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, and occasionally in Delhi. He also did a one-year stint in Colombo as consultant to a Sri Lankan advertising agency. He lives in Bengaluru, his home city, with his wife and mother.
Shridhar’s two daughters currently live in the National Capital Region (NCR). Shridhar loves to read, write, and travel. He can listen to classic rock music and Kishore Kumar’s songs for hours on end. His social media presence is seen mostly on X, where he posts acerbic takes on politicians and on Facebook, his favourite stomping ground for long, light-hearted posts riffing on the absurdities of everyday life.
