Likai is a collection of personal renditions of the Legend of Likai by the students and teachers of the Department of English, Synod College, located in the northeastern state of Meghalaya, India, It is a tribute to Likai.

Likai, is our poetic rendition of an age-old Khasi legend. It is a result of a college event, ‘A Poetry Evening - Spring Edition’, organized by The Writer’s Club, Department of English, Synod College, to commemorate ‘World Poetry Day’, 21.03.2023. The evening showcased countless perceptions, inklings, and thoughts. There were performers and writers who had their first-ever opportunity to present their oeuvre.
With the same enthusiastic spirit, Likai is birthed. It is an accumulation of 20 poems, each with its own image of Likai and her surroundings.
