Throughout his career, he has developed a wide range of interests, including ultrasound teaching, artificial intelligence, fiction writing, and physical fitness training. Dr. Kumar has held various positions in Radiology and ultrasound associations and has presented numerous papers in his field. He demonstrates a particular passion for the PC & PNDT Act , Artificial intelligence and ultrasound. He has served as the state coordinator of IRIA for the PC & PNDT Act.
