Anjali Gupta
Anjali Gupta is a storyteller in every sense—whether she's crafting curriculum, coaxing sense out of chaos in a training session, rescuing a beagle from a dustbin adventure, or weaving together heart and humour in her writing. With over three decades in education, she has worn many hats: teacher, principal, mentor, NGO founder, and most joyfully - lifelong learner.
After retiring from active school duty (but not from duty itself), Anjali poured herself into writing, training, and uplifting rural and low-cost schools through her NGO Build a Better Future (BBF). She's on a mission to help teachers find joy in the everyday, voice in the silence, and courage in the clutter.
This is her sixth book—written between tea breaks, teacher workshops, pet emergencies, and late-night bursts of inspiration. She believes in teaching from the heart, doing the right thing even when no one’s watching, and in the calming power of cake (baked or metaphorical).
When not writing, Anjali can be found with her pets, plotting the next project with her son, editing something for her husband, or simply watching her turkeys chase butterflies on a lazy afternoon. She lives by the motto: “If it touches a heart, it has done its job.”
