Prantik Mitra is an Engineer and MBA ( Finance ) by qualification. He is also an Associate of the Insurance Institute of India and an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers.
He has been a shop floor enginner, Insurer and now a practising broker. Prantik has rich and varied experience spanning over 32 years in various fields namely Insurance Underwriting, Claims, Business Development, Risk Management. He is a faculty in various leading institutes and delves into Risk Management as a hobby.
In the Insurance Industry he started of as a Risk Engineer visting various Risks ( largely Manufacturing Risks ) across the length and breadth of the country.
Prantik has been trained at the Munich Re, Munich, American Re, New jersey and Tokio Marine, Tokyo. He has also been trained on various subjects as the National Insurance Academy, Pune, India.
