Humans and wild animals have always interacted and will continue to do so for as long as they exist. The overwhelming narrative of such interaction is still the one of 'conflict’.
This book attempts to record some interactions between humans and bears that are far more sophisticated than what we are generally exposed to. So, when we try to mitigate the human-wildlife conflict with a human centric lens, we may miss the nuances of these complex relationships that could pave way for coexistence.
