The story is narrated by a girl called Rihana. Rihana belongs to a conservative Islamic family, but she has been given the freedom to be the way she likes. She is a native of Cochin and is brought up in New Delhi. She met a new group of friends on the first day of the year 2030. She changed herself on meeting them. Rihana had to go to Cochin after her 10th grade because her grandmother fell ill, and her mother had to care. Rihana thought that love was a fantasy until she fell in love with a guy called Roshan. Roshan belongs to an orthodox Christian family. The love wasn't supported by Rihana's parents and Roshan's dad, but the things ended in a happy note at the end. The happy ending was a surprise for Rihana and Roshan.
