Baking for me, like many, was a unique term growing up and "Bakery" was a mystical place. I got to visit once a month, as a treat for my results, and seeing all the pastries and cakes made me wonder about their origin and technique. The smell of fresh bread, the sight of beautifully decorated cakes, and the taste of crumbly cookies stayed with me after leaving the place; I guess that is what laid the path for me to start baking. I started baking initially as a hobby, then it became a way to create some fun desserts with my daughter, and now a business.
As a home baker with passion in heart and desire to create something new, I believe that the best memories start in the kitchen. What began as a simple love for mixing flour, sugar, and butter has grown into a lifelong journey of creativity, comfort, and connection. From early-morning loaves to late-night cookie experiments, I find joy in sharing homemade treats that bring people together. Now, as a proud home baker and creator of ""M&B’s Bake-a-Licious"", I have shared the recipes, lessons, and laughter discovered along the way, in my book ""Quirks & Perks of Baking"", inspiring others to bake with heart and confidence.
