Time has an uncanny way of teaching us things we never knew we needed to learn. In the rush of life, each year blurs into the next, a steady stream of moments, some cherished, others challenging. It wasn’t until I paused to take stock of my 34 years that I realised how many lessons had quietly shaped the person I’ve become. I didn’t set out to learn 24 distinct lessons; they found me, often in the unlikeliest of ways. Some came wrapped in joy, others in heartbreak. Some were whispered softly through moments of reflection, while others crashed into my life with the force of a storm, demanding to be acknowledged. Each lesson, though, left an indelible mark, a guidepost in my journey toward understanding myself and the world around me.
