shana ponders how her personality might change if she were to distance herself from all the artistic expressions she values, and the outcomes have always been unsettling for her. she's an avid reader, the author of four poetry books now, and an enthusiastic photographer. beyond her artistic persona, she is cheerful and dedicated to her work. she started her collection of poems in 2015. for her, writing was being vulnerable. ‘bridges- a lost connection’, ‘roses and me’, ‘blue butterflies’ and ‘half a portrait’ are her other books. they are a collection of raw poems composed of the feelings of her entire childhood and they serve as a reminder that progress requires confronting your emotions.
she hopes each of us finds the patience to witness our transformation into something magnificent, like a butterfly emerging from its cocoon. she learned that not everyone disappoints. she learned that there is good in this world, if one looks in the right direction for it. she hopes each one of us gets the courage to hold on to things that mean the world to us.
