H R Shenoy is 75 and lives in Mumbai. He has worked for 37 years for Larsen & Toubro Limited and retired as Manager, Information Systems in their Switchgear Works at Powai, in the year 2000. He was a regular contributor to their house magazines – Powai Pageant and L&T-ite. His sense of humour is influenced by BeeChi (Kannada), PG Wodehouse (English) and Pu La Deshpande (Marathi). He enjoys Hindi film songs of the 50s and the 60s, and Hindustani Classical Music (instrumentals and vocals).
K R Iyer is 67 and lives in Mumbai. He started his career with the Switchgear Division of Larsen & Toubro Limited in Powai, Mumbai in 1969. Thereafter, he worked with the Reserve bank of India and the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), a development bank in India. He has specialised in training in Human Resources Management and Micro Finance. Now he is a freelance trainer in these areas. He enjoys freelance writing, music and cooking, not necessarily in any particular order.
GK – Gurudatt Kundapurkar – Joined Parts Department in 1960 at L&T House, Bombay and retired from WRO-Pune in 1997 as Manager-Parts Sales. Assignments handled: Parts Sales Promotion, Order Execution, Outstanding Clearance & Customer Training, besides organizing games/entertainment at Sales meets. He was an active contributor to the L&T publications Powai Pageant and L&T-ite. He lives in Pune.
