Pt. Roop Chand Joshi invented Lal Kitab in the 19th Century. The first book published in 1939 is preserved in Lahore Museum. Lal Kitab is a scarce book in the field of Astrology. Lal Kitab is a simple way to predict any person's horoscope or a thing. The Lal Kitab is based on the nine planets. The name is Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, and Rahu & Ketu. Lal Kitab is easy to use and can predict without much more calculations.
I am writing this book as per my practice on Lal Kitab. In my practice, I saw that Lal Kitab predicts by property of Planets who gives different-different effects in houses. Lal Kitab Dose does not consider Sign wise predictions. In houses of the chart, the zodiac sign will be considered only Aries in accendent, whether your accendent is whatever. For example, suppose a person is born in Sagittarius Accendent. In that case, his birth chart will be written in Sagittarius first, i.e., Accendent, but it will not be so in the Lal Kitab. According to Lal Kitab, the first house in the horoscope means that Aries will be written in Accendent/Lagna, and Sagittarius will be marked in the same order in the fifth house. If we discuss the remedy portion, Lal Kitab does not recommend any Gemstone, Pujan, Jaap, etc. It will suggest only Totke/Upaye to the native.
