DR. SONIA GUPTA, is an Oral Pathologist (BDS, MDS) from, Chandigarh in India. She is a trilingual poetess who writes in English, Hindi and Punjabi languages. She is an author of two Hindi and five English poetry books. And her poems, articles, essays, stories etc. are part of various anthologies, newspapers and magazines.She has won many prizes in poetry and story competitions organized by various literary groups on face book. Recently she has won a Gold and silver medal in a poetic world cup contest in 2018, “PRASANNA JENN MEMORIAL AWARD 2018” by Asian Literary Society, 5th rank in International Essay writing competition on ‘Skin complexion discrimination’ organized by literary society, India in March 2018. She has been awarded with ‘PREM SAGAR SAMMAN’, ‘NARI GAURAV SAMMAN’, ‘YUG SURBHI SAMMAN’, ‘WOMEN OF THE YEAR AWARD 2016, BY GEHMAR WELFARE SOCIETY -GAAZIPUR’, ‘SAHITY GAURAV SAMMAN’, ‘HINDI GAURAV SAMMAN’, ‘MUKTAK LOK BHUSHAN SAMMAN’ etc. in Hindi literature. Besides poetry, she is fond of paintings, singing, cooking, knitting, designing, stitching and embroidery too. She has got many scientific papers published in her professional field. She is enjoying her passion along with her profession. Her many projects are coming soon.
