Sauvik Acharjee is a Chemical Engineer turned Marketer who followed his passion for words to make his mark in the literary world. A published poet, he was recently honored with the 21st Century Emily Dickinson Award for his evocative poetry. His works have appeared in national and international anthologies and literary magazines, earning recognition for their introspective and lyrical storytelling.
Hailing from Bongaigaon, Assam, and Bengali by heritage, Sauvik now calls Bangalore home. He is one of the editors of ANTARGATA: An Anthology of Poems by the Bangalore Poetry Circle, and a firm believer in the transformative power of storytelling.
A former queer activist and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion champion, Sauvik writes about identity, mental health, and queer love, blending poetic sensitivity with narrative precision.
