SDG 7 Affordable and Clean Energy

Author Name: Dr Bebin A, Dr Ebenezar Sam Paul | Format: Paperback | Genre : Educational & Professional | Other Details

Energy powers development, yet millions lack affordable, clean access. SDG 7 mandates universal energy services, renewable adoption, and efficiency—a social and environmental imperative. Affordable and Clean Energy: Transformative Solutions and Implementation Pathways examine the structural, technological, and governance challenges of the global energy transition, specifically within emerging economies like India. Through seven chapters, this volume explores renewable integration, decentralized systems, and digital innovation while addressing fossil fuel dependence and infrastructure gaps. Emphasizing systemic change over incremental adjustments, it provides researchers and policymakers with evidence-based insights into building resilient, inclusive futures through community participation and technological shifts. This book is part of the Interdisciplinary Book Publication Drive 2026, an initiative of the Office of Research & Development, Madras Christian College, reaffirming our dedication to academic scholarship and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.
