Submitted to Contest #2 in response to the prompt: 'The lines between fiction and reality get blurred when your character starts writing a new book.'

He was standing in front. I kept staring at him. Earlier he was seen in college as well. Same look, same clothes and same blank face. At first he didn't look so well when I saw him from afar. But today he looked different. He had a black overcoat, a blue suit inside and matching boots. The hair on the head looked disheveled. His gray eyes were framed by plain glasses that complimented his chubby face. He was staring at me with an expensive watch in one hand and the other in his overcoat pocket. I ignored him when saw in college but When I caught a glimpse of him in the market, I was confused. I thought it must be because of the constant thinking about him, but maybe it wasn't. Today he was seen but on the terrace? I was surprised. I turned around and saw the door was already closed on my side, so how did he come to the terrace? I had a never-ending and perplexing question. I tried to stay calm instead of saying that I was scared and confused but still calm.

'I have seen you before. who are you? How did you suddenly come up? And the door was closed? You were in college that day, right? Are you following me or..?' I was bombarding every possible question one after another. The next moment he was very close to me without batting an eyelid. I panicked and as I lost my balance I realized I was floating in the air. 'How did this happen? Wait. Is this dream?' question arise in my mind but when I opened my eyes I was already on my feet. I screamed.
'Shut up.' He waved his right hand in the air. 'Now shout what you want to shout.'

'Mom, open the door. Mom.. Dad..' I was very afraid. Almost started crying.
'Now if you have done, I am telling you for your information that your voice will not come out from here.'
'who are you What do you want?'
'No doubt you are just like her. But your voice.' He rubbed his ears. 'How loudly you screamed.'
'I was like her? What do you mean?'
'Why are you bothering her so much? Just tell her everything.' Suddenly another voice fell on the ear behind me. I turned around.
'Who are you?' I touched my head. 'And you- you.. where did you suddenly come from? I don't understand anything.' His clothes seemed a bit old. Compared to the person in front of me, quite old in that respect. His face was a little round, his hair just like a sparrow's nest. It looked like it had never been combed in recent days.
'Sorry princess, I'm an ushar.' Said the boy who came a while ago.
'Princess? Wh-Which princess?'
'You and who?' That person named Ushar smiled.
'Ushar why have you come here. She is my responsibility.'
'Your responsibility Rihan? Oh really? how will you alone keep her safe from diti when she is trailing behind her like a ghost? Don't forget that Diti's power is not only seen by looking at her. Fifty years of experience plus two hundred years of captivity has multiplied her powers.'
'I understand everything. But first she has to be taken to Vikrantika. I don't think she keeps us from saying anything here.' I didn't understand any of his words. I had no choice but to wipe the tears from my eyes.
'So why did we stop?'

'Because she's just human, magic..' Before Rihan finished her sentence, I felt my head hit hard, and I fell so asleep that I thought I'd never wake up from this sleep again.
It took time to wake me up, I don't know how long. But I realized that when I opened my eyes. I - I'm in some other universe. I was sleeping on a soft, warm bed covered with silk sheets. There were curtains all around the bed. I woke up but a sudden headache came and went away like a lightning bolt. For that moment I felt like my head was going to explode. When I looked up, I saw a young man named Rihan peering out of the window across the embroidered sofas there. There must have been a balcony because there was a gust of air blowing in and out.
I tried to get up but I screamed as I couldn't bear the pain and felt like I had been hit in the head. He heard me and started coming towards me. I got up quickly. As soon as I put my foot on the ground, it felt like a grunt.
'Where have you brought me? what did you do with me I feel like my head is going to burst right now.' I said in an angry tone. I went down those two steps. A large exit door was seen on the side. He must have followed me.
'Listen to me.' he said.
I went to the door and in a rush someone pushed it from the outside, I lost my balance. And I fell back.
'Ah..Rihan.' I cried.
'Now - what have I done?' He said in an appearance as if he had done nothing. He helped me up. Someone laughed from behind. She was a very beautiful girl. Bells were ringing between her hands and feet. The long blue dress she was wearing was so beautiful, her hairstyle and the pearl jewelry she was wearing, enhanced her look even more.
'You two are..??' The girl's voice came to my ears from behind the door.
'Don't say anything Saira. Didn't mom tell you to go to the library? Are the books done?'
'I'm not as bad as you, ok?' Although I did not understand what they were talking about. I felt comfortable because their language was similar to mine. But still I was totally confused.
'Now, who are you? What's going on here? Sometimes someone comes and says to me that I look like her. Who is she? And why did you bring me here? You don't say anything and don't even let me go from here.'
'Look..'
'You don't have to say anything. Remember you brought me here. If my parents understand that I am not at home, then..'
'Shh, Saira how much is she talking about.' Rihan took me on his shoulder like a bag.
Aa, aa.. leave me what are you doing.' Dropped down on the couch there. My hand was hit hard.
Now stay calm. Listen carefully.' I suddenly became calm at his words. 'Your parents will not understand that you have come here.'
'And how is that? Did you magically replicate me there?'
'How did you understand? I did it.' The girl named Saira spoke up. But after hearing her answer, I got cold for a moment.
'What? a replica of me?' I got up from the couch but Rihan made me sit back down again.
'You are currently in Vikrantika state. This state is the origin of the economy of Nirvana country. So this is Vikrantika, but not only the city but the entire kingdom.'
'If you keep telling her so much, she is already confused and no doubt why she is so frustrated.'
'Yes?' Rihan got up and looked at Saira and said, 'If it's so much, why don't you try hard, even talking to her is like hitting your head on a stone.' After saying this he went out of there.
'Ignore his words. So, my dear this is a magical world. And you are in the palace right now.'
'What magic world? This- is this true?' I could not believe what she said. 'So you - you're a wizard?' Saira nodded her head in agreement. I got scared and quickly got up and took two steps back.
'Don't worry, nothing will happen. We need you for some reason, so you stay here for the next few days, understand?'
'Y- Yes. Why not.'
'Tell anyone what you need and they will bring it. Once you realize your existence, you yourself will decide to stay here. But before that, do not get out of here. Your life is in danger.'
'My existence? Am I in danger? From whom?'
'Okay, enough talking, I have a lot of work to do, you relax.' She said and went out.
'My existence? What exactly did Saira say?' I thought. But there is no answer for my question. I took a glance around the room. 'Wow! If this room is so big, then how grand will the whole palace be?' The objects kept there were really beautiful. To describe the room overall.. very spacious, big, and charming. All the items were arranged systematically on the silk sheet on the table. A candle stand, some books, some decorative items and much more. There was a picture on the right side of the room. It was of a queen sitting on a chair. Black hair are more like silk, eyes as sharp and sharp as a sword, lips as delicate as rose petals, cool radiance like the moon on the face. 'Who will she be?' A question arose in my mind. Those gray eyes looked familiar for a moment.
There were two sofas in one corner of the room. The window has the perfect size for the room. Pink curtains were hanging. I looked out from the window and I was surprised for a moment by seeing the scene in front.
On the left hand side at the back was the big gate of the palace. It was guarded by two soldiers at either end. A vast green plateau was spread in front. The green plateau next to that barren place was crowded with teak, eucalyptus and many other such trees. It went on and disappeared into a river side area. A little further from where it was the door of the palace has a slope and stone steps were built on it. My head whirled again, it felt like something unfamiliar yet familiar. The door of the room was pushed again.
'Rihan. I want to get out of here. Please.' I ran towards him. I guessed that there was no point in hiding the tears that were rolling down my eyes. 'This - this place..'
'Is familiar. Is that so?' It was like he recognized the sentence that came to my mind.
'It doesn't sound familiar. But also all this does not seem strange at all.' He held my shoulders and made me sit on the sofa. 'Look, you calm down first. I didn't really want to bring you here, but..'
'But what?'
'Your life is in danger.'
'From whom and why? Saira was also saying something like this. I told you that I had not harmed anyone..'
'you know what the first day when we met, you were attacked. But look you are safe now. Stay here for a while. Things will start to understand for you. Trust me.'
'How to keep calm rihan? Events happening before me are unexpected for me. Saira raises the biggest question in front of me who am I? I was happy in my world. I had some existence in that world. But here, what is my existence here?'
'The Vikrantika Kingdom, and its legacy is confusing but it's so much easy to understand. For the economical event Nirvana Empire's focus is only on Vikrantika. A large market of goods, different departments created to give greater priority to artistic qualities, high-quality artists assigned to their work, and above all, the politics. This state is caught up in all this. In order to know its history, the brain has to be stressed as much as the mind has to be controlled. If you want to know the history of the state, you can find lakhs of books, but to know some truths about the royal family and their affairs, those books are of no use.'
'Royal family? This seems like a fairy tale.'
'It was not that the Vikrantika kingdom was a fairy tale. A king, a queen, and you..'' His blue eyes showed a different expression.
'me?'
'Yes the moral of the story says that the princess has arrived, and it is you. Princess of this Vikrantika kingdom.' I was confused for a moment.' Did I hear that right? I thought so.'
'There was a fairy tale, just because this kingdom was very beautiful in the past. It was happy And then that unspeakable day dawned. No one expected it. That, Viti.. suddenly..'
'I have heard this name somewhere.' He laughed at my sentence.
'This evening you will understand your unknown existence, so you can relax now.' He got up from there.
'Rihan, I don't know my truth. I don't even know Why did you bring me here? But.. Thank you.'
'And why is that?'
Maybe for understanding me?' He smiled again and left the room.
'Am I a princess? But I'm not. Then.. Who am I?' The answer was not found, but my eyes were very sleepy. I just sat on that sofa and closed my eyes.
'Ragini? Ragini?..' My mother's voice fell on my ears.
And suddenly the picture in front of me changed as if a frame were to be rotated. Now I was in a palace. It was very old. The front view looked exactly like the historic ruins. The picture changed again.
'Why? You are here.' A girl's voice caught my ear. 'Everything Rihan did was for you, so why are you so mad at him?' But her figure looked like a shadow.
'But he should have to give me the idea first.' A voice burst from my throat. But I don't understand why this happened. 'Don't let go of him repeating the same things over and over again, doesn't mean he is going to come back.'
'Why do you even give up after trying so hard?' Another heavy sound fell on the ear.
I have no choice.' Again the voice burst from my throat. Suddenly there was a light in front of my eyes and someone shouted, 'Viti..' Then everything went blurry in front of me..
