Vedika, after ending the call with her senior, turned towards her team, beaming with joy, and told them that they had been accepted for the Expedition of Shambhala. A hidden cave was found in Kailash Parvat, It has been concluded that it leads to Shambhala, according to the information in Kalachakra Tantra. A team of researchers, archaeologists, and scientists is being assembled for the Expedition. Vedika, an archaeologist, and her team members have been selected for it. A total of 20 talented members have been selected from across the globe for this Expedition. every member has been expected to reach Kailash in 7 days.
Vedika and her team left for Kailash as soon as they got the news. As they reached and greeted all the other members of the expedition, the members were from different countries, all gathered in one place to finally discover the secret of Shambhala. 2 scientists from usa, 1 archaeologist, and her assistant from Japan, 3 researchers from China, 2 professors and 2 of their students from Russia, 6 military personnel from London, India, Austraila, and China with Vedika and her team from india. This is the group that will go on the expedition. they prepared and researched for 3 days before going to the location of the cave.
It had been quite hard to locate the cave even with the exact coordinates, since the cave was well hidden. When they finally reached the cave, the entrance was quite enormous made them wonder how it stayed hidden for so long. As they navigated through the cave for 2 days, they finally found what would be an entrance to Shambhala. There were inscriptions on the wall, and in the middle stood a huge metal door covered in runes. It all looked so magnificent that no one spoke for a minute. As they were wondering how they would open the door, it opened, releasing a bit of air from inside? Outside? The door.
Everyone cautiously entered, soldiers being in the front and the rear, and all the other members in the middle. Behind the door, they could not see anything; only fog surrounded them, and as they walked ahead and the fog started dissipating, they saw a path leading somewhere. The path was exceptionally beautiful, like they had just stepped into a fairy tale. But soon that path turned into a barren land, where before there were green trees, now only branches of trees that must have been struck by lightning can be seen.
It all looked so strange, one minute they were walking through a fairy tale, and in the next minute it turned into a horror story. That’s when they notice how eerily quiet this place has been since they entered through the door. There was no other creature around, no bird, insect, no traces of any kind of living being besides them.
They had tried to turn back after walking for 2 hours straight, but the path behind them had disappeared; only thick fog could be seen, so they had no other option but to move forward, as that was the only visible path. After walking for another hour, they could finally see something other than barren trees. As they reached closer, it became clearer that it was a city. The city looked magnificent and still fully intact. Navigating through the city, they reached the palace, which had been below a waterfall. Water dripped right on the castle.
Going inside the castle, they explored for a bit, noticing that everything looked to be in the place it was supposed to be; it seemed to be a place that had been well maintained. It was quite odd, Vedika thought that this place looked like it had been recently made. After exploring, they all decided to take some rest and continue tomorrow. They had made a camp and went to sleep. When they went to sleep, it looked like evening, like the sun had yet to set but could not be seen because of the clouds and the cold weather. When Vedika woke up first, she noticed that the sky was the same as when they went to sleep. She woke up everyone quickly and told them about it.
Everyone had started to panic with everything they had seen, it seemed that the information about the sky had become the breaking point for them. In their panic, they started fighting each other, accusing one another. As the soldiers and the professors tried to calm everyone and think about what they should do next. It had been obvious that they would try to find a way to go back. They split into 5 groups and scattered. Vedika and the members with her reached a temple that had no statue. As they searched it, they found an underground library.
This library was quite big and lit up as they stepped inside. All of them scatheerd to serach to find a way out. They had been reading, searching for 2 hours now, but nothing relevant had been found. When they had given up and were about to go back, Vedika noticed a book that was glowing, she went to get the book. And when she opened it, the whole place rumbled like an earthquake had suddenly occurred. It died down the whole place changed. The whole city looked to be in ruins. When Vedika looked at the book, it had only one sentence written on the open page. ‘You should not have come here, Vedika. Shambhala can not be found.’ She read it and looked at her teammates, panicked. They suggested reading ahead, and as she read ahead, the book described everything that had happened since they entered through the door. She got to the part where she is reading about the book in the book, and in the book, it said that they all are going to………………..
