It was 1 pm afternoon. Riya, a lonely girl was swinging quietly in the swings of the park corner. Just then, She saw someone standing in front of her, when she headed up and saw it was a small girl of her same age, same height and even the same dress of a yellow jumpsuit with a blue shirt. Suddenly, that girl came near to Riya and pinched her in hand and said "Hey, Same pinch!!", with a small wink and smile, which brought Riya a little happiness in her face.

And the girl introduced herself as, Hey! Am Sophie, studying in 1st class. What about you?

Riya and Sophie started talking to each other, sitting on the side-by-side swings; after some time, "Riya!!" a voice was calling from a distance and nearing, and it was Riya's mother, Anjali.

Anjali is an IT staff and just now she is returning home from the office on the way she is about to pick up Riya who always plays alone. But to Anjali's surprise, Riya was playing with Sophie and seeing her daughter happy with her company, Anjali feelfeltief because Riya was not like other children from birth; Riya was a premature child and till 4 years she didn't speak with anyone. But now seeing Riya, Anjali gets happy tears.

Anjali went near to the little girls now playing in a seesaw, "Riya, it's time to go home, baby!" Anjali said and also asked, "Hmmm, May I know who is this, is this your new friend?"

Riya," Yes mummy, She is Sophie, she came to this town new and she is also in the same class as me and also lookbooks, we are wearing the same clothes!!!"

Riya's excitement when she introduces her new friend to her mom is so just bliss and relaxing to Anjali.

"Hello, Aunty!" Said Sophie with a little bit of a shy and scared look.

"My dear, why are getting nervous? Come here both" Anjali called both of them and she kneeled to them and gave each of them hugs and kisses.

When she was hugging Sophie, Anjali whispered in Sophie's ears, " Thank you!"

Sophie didn't understand but though she said "You welcome, Aunty!"

In a moment, Sophie's mother also arrived to pick her up. And now Anjali and Sophie's mom, Lucy get into a conversation about when they arrived, and about Sophie's school and by now even the moms have become friends.

But something was going inside Anjali's mind that, She never found someone this much quick as a friend or a buddy. She also doubted that she knew Lucy before herself because it felt like she had met and talked with her for quite a year.

Now all 4 are walking back towards Anjali's home to have a cup of coffee, and when they were walking Anjali asked Lucy, " So, where was your schooling and college?"

" Hmmm.... I barely remember my school days because I had a terrible accident on my 10th std and I got to lose a bit of my memories, but I remember my mom saying I did my schooling in our hometown near Tenkasi, in a Govt. School and I was a very brilliant student my mom used to say I had the closest friend there, we used to be like soul sisters and we did most the things in same way everyone was shocked and jealous of our friendship but I am searching for her for almost 15 yrs. But, could not." Lucy sadly sighed as they entered Anjali's home.

While Lucy was telling the story Anjali had an intuitive thought that, maybe Lucy's school friend could be me being Anjali also the same story as her childhood.

Anjali started putting some delicious tea for her and Lucy and prepared some Hot Milk and biscuits for the girls.

While the teapot was boiling, She went to her bedroom and Anjali took an old metal box from the loft and dug out some things and finally, she took a photo album.

She went to the living room with the album, tea, milk and some snacks. Anjali shared her old album of her childhood pics and school and family and also some of Riya's pics.

When they were turning the pages, to Lucy's surprise, Anjali's school friend pic was just like hers and also the school pics Anjali showed were the exact pics that Lucy's mom showed to her.

Right then, Anjali got a phone call from her mom, saying "Anjali ma, I found your childhood friend's mom here in the supermarket and she said your friend recently got shifted to Chennai at your same area and same block, will share her address and current photo"

Anjali said, " ok ma, will see it and call you, Love you!"


When Anjali and Lucy saw the current pics and the address, they were shocked to see that Lucy finally found her friend and she was already at her friend's home even Anjali, who didn't know what happened these all years, had been worried about a friend and knowing that now she is in her home having the tea prepared by her.


Anjali and Lucy exchanged hugs with tears rolling down their faces and said, "Missed you a lot di!", at the same speed and same time just like their old times.

Just then Riya and Sophie came out of Riya's room after playing and both of them started saying to their moms, "Mummy! I wanted to go to the same school as Riya's and the same line Riya said like the same school as Sophie with the same tone and same timing.

Just then the two mom besties looked at each other and looked down at their cute little girls being the same as them.

After glancing, Anjali and Lucy both came to pinch each other's hand to say, "Same Pinch!"
