After pursuing a year long course on screenplay writting and western classical music finally returned,
to ones abode since the flight was delayed by eight hours the moment reached home went to ones room and crashed,
the next three days went in sleeping and relaxing as the schedule here is different than what is it abroad and there all,
chores have to be done by the every person himself no help is available. so that morning after having a nice brunch of moong dal cheelas,
and cold coffee went in ones room to watch a movie on netflix , suddenly the door bell rang and went to open the door as it was ones parcel ,
from amazon as i was going back to my room i heard moms voice she was crying and saying please dont tell her please dont tell her ,
i wondered what happened who was on the line who was that person , was someone threatening her or what then the next day i was searching for my i-phone charger,
and couldnt find it decided to take my mothers as she and i use the same model i was in her room and on the dressing table charger wasnt there as she had said
so decided to look for the charger in her, bedisde drawer as i was about to open the drawer she came , held my hand tightly what are you doing ??
mom i was looking for the charger what happened why are you so upset nothing are you hiding something from your child mom i asked and in a tone of anger,
she replied you have started asking too many questions , soon she opened the cupboard and gave the charger from now on dont enter the room without my permission,
am i clear yes mom loud and clear. i could sense something was wrong and then next day i picked up mom's phone when it was ringing and before i could even utter the word hello he said ''listen you evil women will tell your daughter that she was a child born as a result of repeated sexual assaults and not out of love and the person she calls dad so adorably is, not her real biological father she couldnt believe what those ears had heard and the phone slipped out of her hands in the night she heard the conversation about how her dear ,mother was sexually abused when she was in first year of college by her uncle and one day got to know that i was in her womb ,
she confronted him he hit her and said will marry you now get the gender of the foetus checked mom was helpless got the test done in a clinic that was less known and then
got another shock of her life it was a girl he refused and threatened will spread the news that she is pregnant and the relationship is illegitimate on the verge of committng ,suicide was saved by a generous soul my dad who always had a crush on mom since school days he agreed to marry her and give a name to her child and soon they got married in a temple and this unwanted daughter became a loved legitimate child who has the most loving parents ever , mom dad never wanted there daughter to even get a hint about this dark past but now he was calling only to make my mothers life hell once again and i got to know this harsh truth.
Then after getting the whole picture in front of these eyes wanted to get hint of how he looked where was he , and also get him punished for the crime committed as
sexual assault is a crime as per the law and he not only sexually assaulted my mother but also told her to abort the girl child which is another crime in itself as it comes under thr ambit of selective sex - abortions , really he now deserves to cry and sob as his crime has given my mother so many nights of fear and pain,
so one day from my mothers phone decided to note down the number and then made a call from another sim-card about being in desperate need of a job even working as a househelp would work he said yes okay but willl not pay you more than eight thousand for twelve hours , and that includes doing all the work , cleaning , cooking and laundry, is that okay yes sir i replied loud and clear , leaving home told mother that for some days going to stay with my friend who has just come for few ,months she stays in London ,mom said ''okay beta'' keep in touch and then rang the door of my enemy , he explained everything and would leave for work. then while cleaning his room underneath the, bed found a bundle wrapped in a dirty old cloth , decided to open it and it had photos of my mother and how he clicked her pictures after he used to assault her ,quickly took screenshots and kept it back and then one of my friends who happen to stay nearby his house informed her about everything she said dont worry iam with you. Then next day scanned his laptop where threatening mails to my mother were sent plus phone details , took leave owing to illness and then went with my friend to the police showed them all the proof they arrested him, soon it came in the papers and ,media he couldnt take all humiliation coming in the way committed suicide in jail.
My parents said '' sorry beta '' we never wanted you to know the truth i replied dad truth had to be out of its closed shell someday or the other , thank you for saving two ,lives, my mother and ,mine and then began living with them a happy , safe secured and fulfilling life, some truths destroy our life yet they make us realise life is what we never thought it will be each day new story yet in my story devil saw its end and peace returned in life forever.
