Submitted to Contest #5 in response to the prompt: 'You overhear something you weren’t meant to. What happens next?'

You know what, at all points, in addition to the tones that we capably listen to, there exists undertones and overtones which do not meet our eyes.
But, behind her eyes lay a sense, 6th of sorts! which made it clear to her, the core intention (from an avid pool of intentions) of anyone she ever met.

In her deep meditations, she fought her own thoughts and thought it was not right to not just know but also to feel someone’s core intention so deep and tight, irrespective of whatever they said physically which was most times on the flip side. She repeatedly told it to herself that this is akin to overhearing something that she weren't meant to. To her the best way to deal with it was to let the overtone and especially the undertone go, let go and pay all the focus to only that which was ever verbalized because only that was the way, right!

She began to follow the lead and portrayed herself as is in the best practice. But she knew that she was being pulled into the other realm where everything was only effortless. She tried but couldn’t stop herself from visiting that site, especially in realizing how far it was from her current physical reality even when she was immersed in the mightiest of her mights. She couldn’t help herself in being pulled to that sphere of acute magnetism. Slowly, she began to share glimpses of her experiences with the world around her. It was very warmly welcomed at first and then calmly dismissed as if worst.  In dismissing it, only a very few dared to deny it for everyone else felt a surge of energy, divinity and purity which she expressed using the elements with which nature dealt. There was something indescribably beautiful, otherworldly. It was so attractive that it even attracted ghosts.

Time kept rolling and she flowered in her choice of the plane at her own will, only till!! there came a message to which she said a yes to and not just that, she said, Of course, Yes! This was very-very unlike her. In her usual content being, even before processing the heard, her response was a Big NO! irrespectively! Almost always! other than the maybe! But here she was and that too with a Yes! When she heard herself responding as such and that too from the depths of the pink shade of her inner knowing, she knew it herself that there was more yet to be presented.

She felt lite and was filled with excitement to allow life to unfold!
She waited, waited and waited with her eyes open wide.
There came in gusts as they were the guides.
Leaving a particle dwelling besides,
the thing that gives vision to the wise
and making them dance repeating
शान्तिः! शान्तिः! शान्तिः!, thrice.

In her mind, it was the invitation from the other realm she had said yes to,
for that was the way that suited her the best too.
Also, it went well with the much needed rest too.

But much-much later, she came to know that her Yes! had got stolen on its way to the desired destination
and that is why there was an unruly passage of time, aptly winged under procrastination.

Now, she had to fight it. She dreaded the thought, even then, she fought, fought and fought
& finally she won, not with a sword but with the power of no thought.

No thought! Is that even possible?
It must be. Only then the thought of it would erupt, exist.
Seers and sages often mention attributes of their own realizations which sounds very much so, lite and equipoised.

Initially, she struggled to contain her joy at the knowledge of such an achievable state.
She accepted less and more she forbade. She remained open to receiving only the intangible bliss and that is what she prayed for pleading
Please, Please, Please!

But that brought in wounds, sorrows, miseries and much,
so much so and so as much that it began to find comparison with degrees as if earned.
And then she learnt to ask not, neither for the sorrow nor for the bliss.

She remained poised and welcomed whichever got met.
She did that for days on end and then she would explode on a random day and would start over yet again.
Her efforts were becoming more and more pronounced. She was feeling the burn out.
She realized it was so easy to keep so many thoughts cluttering her consciousness while it is way too difficult to keep that space clean.

Is there anyone even taking a note, am I even getting seen?

She cried, cried, cried and slept and in that sleep she got swept off her feet.
Her struggling self felt surrendered and the realm of her being bloomed, seemingly lavendered.
The softness brought her back to her innate presence and the chapter closed with a faint sound uttering acceptance.

She woke up and found herself chirping in The Realm that she had sent a Yes! to and that indeed, for her was the best too.
There, She knew not what stress did, does or do and eventually she developed her trust back too.
Upon meeting the souls on that address she began her dream life,
now in real as afresh, anew.
She floated in that nothingness where all her dire efforts laughed and rolled,
There she strolled in the garden of the portraits her beloved drew.

Thanks!
